경북콘텐츠진흥원, 지역 창작자 대상 첫 공모전 ‘2026 경북콘텐츠코리아랩 캐릭터 IP 공모전’ 개최! Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation Content Hosts First Contest for Local Creators, ‘2026 Gyeongbuk Content Korea Lab Character IP Contest’!

 경북문화재단 콘텐츠진흥원은 지역 창작자의 독창적인 캐릭터 아이디어 발굴을 위해 ‘2026 경북콘텐츠코리아랩 캐릭터 IP 공모전’을 개최한다. 이번 공모전은 신규 캐릭터 IP 기획 및 디자인을 주제로, 캐릭터 세계관, 성격, 콘텐츠 제작 활용 계획 등을 포함한 기획안을 접수한다. 참가 대상은 만 19세 이상 경북도민, 경북 도내 대학 재·휴학생, 3년 이내 경북 소재 초기 창업기업이다.

총 15개 작품을 선정해 각 100만원의 상금을 지급하며, 수상자에게는 캐릭터 설정 고도화와 스토리텔링 강화 교육 및 멘토링 프로그램이 제공된다. 이 중 우수 IP 5개는 최대 500만원의 시제품 제작 지원금을 받아 사업화까지 연계 지원받는다.

접수는 3월 18일부터 4월 17일 오후 4시까지 공모전 홈페이지(www.gbckl-contest.kr)에서 가능하며, 자세한 내용은 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.

The Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation Content Promotion Agency is hosting the '2026 Gyeongbuk Contents Korea Lab Character IP Contest' to discover unique character ideas from local creators. The contest focuses on planning and designing new character IPs, including character worldviews, personalities, and plans for content production and utilization.

Eligible participants are residents of Gyeongbuk aged 19 or older, currently enrolled or on leave students in Gyeongbuk universities, and early-stage startups located in Gyeongbuk within the past three years.

A total of 15 works will be selected, each awarded a prize of 1 million KRW. Winners will receive education and mentoring programs to enhance character settings and storytelling. Additionally, five outstanding IPs will be chosen to receive prototype production support of up to 5 million KRW, with further support to help commercialize their creations.
