 글로벌 거주권 및 시민권 컨설팅 전문기업 Henley & Partners가 스위스 인도주의 단체 Andan Foundation과 함께 ‘2026 글로벌 시민상(Global Citizen Award)’ 후보를 모집합니다. 이 상은 2014년 창설되어, 국경을 넘어 인류에 중대한 영향을 미치는 글로벌 과제 해결에 기여한 개인에게 수여됩니다.

수상자는 사회적 취약계층의 삶에 긍정적 변화를 만들어낸 이주 문제 관련 활동가여야 하며, 독립적인 심사위원회가 선정합니다. 시상식은 Henley & Partners의 연례 글로벌 시티즌십 컨퍼런스에서 진행됩니다.

수상자에게는 이탈리아 예술가 Antonio Nocera가 특별 제작한 조각 메달, 위원회 위원장의 서명 증서, 그리고 인도주의 활동 지원을 위한 2만 달러 상금이 수여됩니다. 또한 Henley & Partners는 1년간 수상자의 활동 홍보와 프로젝트 지원을 담당합니다.

과거 수상자로는 난민 구호단체 Sea Watch 설립자 Harald Höppner, 아프리카 최대 재난구호단체 Gift of the Givers Foundation 설립자 Imtiaz Sooliman 박사, 디지털 신원증명 프로젝트 The Humanized Internet 공동설립자 Monique Morrow 등이 있습니다.

Henley & Partners, a global leader in residence and citizenship consulting, in partnership with the Swiss humanitarian organization Andan Foundation, is inviting nominations for the 2026 Global Citizen Award. Established in 2014, this prestigious award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to solving global challenges that transcend national borders.

The award recognizes activists whose work positively impacts vulnerable social groups, particularly in relation to migration issues. Winners are selected by an independent panel of distinguished judges and are celebrated at the Henley & Partners Annual Global Citizenship Conference.

Recipients of the award receive a specially designed sculptural medal created by Italian artist Antonio Nocera, a certificate signed by the chairperson of the award committee, and a grant of USD 20,000 to support their humanitarian initiatives. Additionally, Henley & Partners will collaborate closely with the awardees over the following year to raise awareness of their work and assist with project support through the company’s global network.

Past honorees include Harald Höppner, founder of the refugee aid organization Sea Watch; Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of Africa’s largest disaster relief group, the Gift of the Givers Foundation; and Monique Morrow, co-founder of the digital identity project The Humanized Internet.
