 현대자동차가 중국 시장에서 전용 전기차 브랜드 아이오닉(IONIQ)을 공식 론칭하며 새로운 도약에 나섰습니다. 2026년 4월 7일부터 10일까지 베이징 현대 모터스튜디오에서 열린 브랜드 론칭 행사에서 세계 최초로 ‘비너스 콘셉트’와 ‘어스 콘셉트’ 두 대의 콘셉트카를 공개했습니다.

아이오닉은 ‘휴머니티를 향한 진보(Progress for Humanity)’라는 브랜드 비전 아래 중국 소비자 맞춤 기술과 디자인을 단행하였으며, 현지 기술 전문기업 모멘타와 협력해 자율주행 기술을 현지 최적화했습니다. 또한, 중국에서 최초로 주행거리 연장형 전기차(EREV) 기술을 선보입니다.

브랜드 네이밍 체계도 중국 시장에 맞게 ‘행성’을 모티브로 새롭게 도입했으며, 디자인 언어 ‘디 오리진(The Origin)’을 적용해 독창적 곡선 실루엣과 미래지향적 스타일을 강조했습니다.

비너스 콘셉트는 금성에서 영감을 받은 세단형 차량으로 ‘래디언트 골드’ 컬러와 첨단 디자인 요소를, 어스 콘셉트는 지구의 생명력을 담은 SUV로 ‘오로라 실드’ 컬러와 자연 친화적 내장을 특징으로 합니다.

현대차는 2026년 베이징 국제 모터쇼를 통해 중국 시장용 아이오닉 양산 모델 디자인 및 상품 정보를 공개하고, EV 판매·서비스 혁신 방안을 발표할 예정입니다. 이를 통해 중국 전동화 시장에서의 경쟁력을 강화할 계획입니다.

Hyundai Motor Company has officially launched its dedicated electric vehicle brand, IONIQ, in the Chinese market, marking a new leap forward. From April 7 to 10, 2026, at Hyundai Motorstudio Beijing, the brand launch event unveiled two concept cars, the Venus Concept and the Earth Concept, to the world for the first time.

Under the brand vision ‘Progress for Humanity,’ IONIQ incorporated technology and design customized for Chinese consumers. Hyundai collaborated with local autonomous driving specialist Momenta to optimize autonomous driving technology for local conditions and introduced China’s first Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology.

The brand naming system was newly designed for the Chinese market, inspired by ‘planets,’ while the design language, ‘The Origin,’ emphasizes a unique curved silhouette and a futuristic style.

The Venus Concept is a sedan inspired by Venus, featuring a ‘Radiant Gold’ exterior color and advanced technological design elements. The Earth Concept is an SUV embodying Earth's vitality, with an ‘Aurora Shield’ color and nature-inspired interior.

Hyundai plans to reveal the design and product details of the IONIQ production models for the Chinese market at the 2026 Beijing International Motor Show and announce innovations in EV sales and service. This strategy aims to strengthen Hyundai’s competitive edge in China's electrification market.
