국내 대표 K팝 아티스트 블랙핑크 로제가 브루노 마스와 협업한 메가 히트곡 ‘아파트(APT.)’로 K팝 사상 최초로 제46회 브릿 어워즈에서 ‘올해의 인터내셔널 노래’를 수상했다. 2026년 2월 28일 영국 맨체스터에서 열린 시상식에서 로제는 트로피를 받으며 브루노 마스에게 감사 인사를 전했고, 블랙핑크 멤버들과 소속사 프로듀서 테디에도 고마움을 표했다.

‘아파트’는 2024년 10월 발매된 솔로 앨범의 선공개곡으로, 한국 전통 술자리 놀이 ‘아파트 게임’에서 영감을 받아 제작됐다. 이 곡은 빌보드 ‘핫 100’에서 K팝 여성 가수 최고 순위인 3위를 기록했으며, 영국 오피셜 싱글차트에서는 2위까지 오르는 등 1년 이상 차트 상위권을 유지하며 글로벌 인기를 입증했다.

브릿 어워즈는 1977년부터 영국음반산업협회가 주관하는 권위 있는 대중음악 시상식이다. 앞서 방탄소년단과 블랙핑크는 후보로 여러 차례 이름을 올렸지만 수상에는 실패했으며, 2024년 DJ 페기 구도 후보에 올라 수상하지 못했다.

(APT.)’ featuring Bruno Mars. The ceremony took place on February 28, 2026, in Manchester, UK. Upon receiving the trophy, Rosé expressed gratitude to Bruno Mars as well as to her BLACKPINK members and producer Teddy.

Released in October 2024 as the pre-release single from her solo album, ‘Apt.’ was inspired by the traditional Korean drinking game known as the ‘Apt game.’ The song achieved significant global success, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100—the highest position ever for a K-pop female artist—and peaking at number two on the UK Official Singles Chart, maintaining a top position for over a year.

The BRIT Awards, hosted by the British Phonographic Industry since 1977, is one of the most prestigious music award events in the UK. While BTS and BLACKPINK had been nominated multiple times in previous years, they had not secured a win. In 2024, DJ Peggy Gou was also nominated but did not receive the award.

Rosé’s historic win marks a milestone as the first individual K-pop artist to receive a BRIT Award, solidifying her stature as a leading solo artist on the global stage.
