 사천시는 2026년 4월 3일부터 5일까지 용현면 선진리성 일원에서 ‘제7회 선진리성 벚꽃축제’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 개막식은 4월 3일 오후 6시 30분이다.

이번 축제는 만개 직전의 벚꽃이 선사하는 절정의 봄 풍경을 배경으로 다양한 공연과 체험, 먹거리 행사로 구성된 풀코스 프로그램으로 준비되었다.

축제 기간 동안 참가자들은 사진 촬영 명소에서 인생샷을 남길 수 있으며, 행사장 곳곳에서는 다채로운 공연과 체험 부스가 운영되어 가족과 연인, 친구들과 함께 특별한 추억을 쌓을 수 있다. 특히 ‘김밥왕 선발대회’가 함께 진행되어 지역 특색을 살린 재미 요소를 더할 예정이다.

Sacheon City announced that the 7th Seonjini Fortress Cherry Blossom Festival will take place from April 3 to 5, 2026, at the Seonjini Fortress area in Yonghyeon-myeon. The festival features a comprehensive program set against the breathtaking scenery of cherry blossoms just before full bloom, including diverse performances, experiential activities, and food events.

During the festival, visitors will have ample opportunities to capture picturesque photos at designated scenic spots. Throughout the venue, a variety of performances and interactive booths will be available, allowing families, couples, and friends to create cherished memories together. Notably, the festival will also host the “Kimbap King Contest,” adding a unique local flavor and an element of fun.

A city official from Sacheon stated, “The Seonjini Fortress Cherry Blossom Festival is a signature spring event. We hope visitors seize the moment of peak bloom to share precious times with their loved ones.” The opening ceremony is scheduled for April 3 at 6:30 PM.
