봉은사에서 반야심경에 힙합·EDM까지…우원재·DJ 웨건·DJ 소다 참여해 반야심경 ‘공(空)’ 파티! From the Heart Sutra to Hip-hop and EDM at Bongeunsa Temple… Woo Won-jae, DJ Wagon, and DJ Soda join the Heart Sutra ‘Gong’ (Emptiness) Party!

 서울 강남 봉은사에서 4월 2일부터 3일까지 이틀간 ‘2026 야단법석 - 마음을 밝히는 밤’ 행사가 열린다. 대한불교조계종 불교신문 주최·주관, 마인드디자인 기획·운영의 이번 행사는 반야심경의 핵심 사상인 ‘공(空)’을 누구나 쉽게 이해하고 체험할 수 있도록 음악, 퍼포먼스, 참여형 체험 프로그램을 결합한 공공문화 콘텐츠다.

행사는 총 1만2000명 규모로 ‘반야심경 공(空) 파티’와 상설 체험 프로그램으로 구성되며, 4월 2일 힙합 테마에 우원재와 DJ 웨건이, 4월 3일 EDM 테마에 글로벌 DJ 소다가 참여한다. 참가자들은 반야심경 독송과 리듬 기반 공연에 맞춰 함께 ‘공(空)’의 메시지를 체험한다.

봉은사 경내에서는 오후 2시부터 7시까지 ‘마음 밝히기’라는 상설 참여 프로그램이 운영되며, 마음 체크 및 선명상 앱 기반 명상 체험으로 일상 속 마음 관리를 돕는다.

본 행사는 종교 유무와 무관하게 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있으며, 안전한 관람 환경 조성을 위해 사전 예약과 현장 관리가 이뤄진다. 청년층과 외국인 참여 확대, 온라인 콘텐츠 확산을 통해 지속 가능한 공공문화 모델로 확장할 계획이다.

Designed for a total audience of 12,000 participants, the event features the ‘Heart Sutra Emptiness (空) Party’ and ongoing hands-on programs. On April 2, the hip-hop themed program will showcase rapper Woowonjae and DJ Wagon. On April 3, global DJ Soda will lead an EDM-themed performance. Attendees will join the recitation of the Heart Sutra and rhythm-based performances to collectively experience the message of ‘emptiness (空)’.

Within the Bongeunsa temple grounds, the ‘Brighten the Mind’ interactive program runs daily from 2 PM to 7 PM, offering participants opportunities to check their mental state through mood stickers and engage in five-minute meditation sessions using a Seon (Zen) meditation application, promoting mindfulness in everyday life.

This event is free and open to all, regardless of religious affiliation. To ensure a safe and well-managed experience, participants are required to make reservations in advance, and on-site safety measures are strictly implemented. The organizers plan to broaden engagement by increasing participation among young people and foreigners, as well as expanding online content, developing the event into a sustainable public cultural model.
