에이프레임(A-FRAME), 3년 연속 레드닷 디자인 어워드 본상 수상 기록 달성! A-FRAME Achieves Record of Winning Red Dot Design Award Main Prize for 3 Consecutive Years!

 크리에이티브 미디어아트 그룹 에이프레임은 세계 3대 디자인 공모전 중 하나인 독일 ‘2025 레드닷 디자인 어워드(Red Dot Design Award)’의 브랜드&커뮤니케이션 디자인 부문에서 본상을 수상하며 3년 연속 수상의 쾌거를 이뤘다.

이번 수상작인 ‘OLED T Chandelier’는 LG전자 투명 올레드(OLED) 기술과 국내 대표 광고 대행사 HSAD와의 협업으로 탄생한 키네틱 멀티미디어 아트 작품이다. 에이프레임은 미디어아트를 단순한 평면 영상물이 아닌, 공간의 물리적 구조, 조명, 입체적 사운드를 통합하여 새로운 차원의 표현을 선보였다. 특히 샹들리에 형태의 구조가 투명 OLED의 특성을 극대화하며 공간에 개방감과 생동감을 부여했다.

에이프레임은 2023년과 2024년에 이어 2025년까지 3년 연속 본상을 수상하며 독보적인 기획력과 제작 역량을 입증했다. 이러한 성취는 K-미디어아트의 글로벌 전시 및 디자인 시장에서의 위상을 한층 강화하는 데 기여하고 있다.

Creative media art group A-FRAME has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 in the Brand & Communication Design category, marking their third consecutive year receiving this prestigious honor.

Their award-winning piece, ‘OLED T Chandelier,’ is a kinetic multimedia art work born from a collaboration between LG Electronics’ transparent OLED technology and South Korea’s leading advertising agency HSAD. A-FRAME broke away from conventional flat video art by integrating the physical structure of space, lighting, and three-dimensional sound to present a new level of artistic expression. Notably, the chandelier-shaped structure maximizes the unique characteristics of transparent OLED, granting openness and vivid dynamism to the space.

Having consecutively won the main prize in 2023 and 2024 as well, A-FRAME has demonstrated exceptional planning and production capabilities. This achievement significantly contributes to elevating the global status of Korean media art in exhibitions and design markets worldwide.
