 두산 전자BG와 롯데에너지머티리얼즈는 인공지능(AI) 데이터센터 및 네트워크 장비용 고성능 인쇄회로기판(PCB) 생산을 위해 동박 개발 평가 및 공급 협력을 위한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했습니다.

이번 협력은 AI 반도체와 5G 통신 등 첨단 산업에서 필요한 초극저조도(HVLP) 4급 회로박 기술과 세계적 수준의 동박적층판(CCL) 기술을 결합하여 신호 손실 최소화와 신뢰성 확보를 목적으로 합니다. 양사는 고속 전송 환경에 적합한 HVLP 동박 개발, 저손실 CCL과 동박의 최적화, 안정적인 품질·납기 공급 체계 구축, 국내외 고객사 대상 평가·인증 확대를 공동 추진할 계획입니다.

이를 통해 두 기업은 고객 요구에 부합하는 고성능 소재 솔루션을 신속히 제공하고, 글로벌 시장 경쟁력을 강화하는 한편, 국내 소재산업의 기술 자립과 공급망 안정에도 기여할 방침입니다.

Doosan Electronics BG and Lotte Energy Materials have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the development, evaluation, and supply of copper foil for high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in AI data centers and network equipment.

This collaboration aims to combine cutting-edge Hyper Very Low Profile (HVLP) Grade 4 circuit board technology, essential for advanced industries like AI semiconductors and 5G communication, with world-class Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) technology to minimize signal loss and enhance reliability. The companies plan to jointly advance HVLP copper foil development, optimize low-loss CCL and copper foil pairing, establish a stable quality and delivery supply system, and expand evaluations and certifications for domestic and international customers.

Through this partnership, Doosan Electronics BG and Lotte Energy Materials will promptly provide high-performance material solutions that meet customer demands, strengthen global market competitiveness, and contribute significantly to the domestic materials industry's self-reliance and supply chain stability.
