 JYP엔터테인먼트의 글로벌 걸그룹 걸셋(GIRLSET)이 신곡 '트윅(Tweak)'으로 미주 지역을 포함한 국제 음악 시장에서 눈에 띄는 성과를 거두고 있다.

지난 6일 발매된 '트윅'은 멕시코, 칠레 등 여러 해외 아이튠즈 톱 송 차트 1위를 기록했으며, 미국 아이튠즈 톱 송 차트 24위, 팝 송 차트 18위를 기록하며 자체 최고 기록을 경신했다.

글로벌 최대 음원 스트리밍 플랫폼인 스포티파이에서는 공개 첫날 약 64만 스트리밍 수를 기록했고, 미국 내 재생 횟수는 27만 회 이상으로 전작 '리틀 미스' 대비 2배 이상 상승했다. 애플뮤직에서도 발매 당일 총 18만 회 이상 재생되었으며, 미국에서만 약 13만 회의 스트리밍을 기록해 현지 관심도를 입증했다. 디지털 앨범 판매량 역시 미국 내에서 전작 대비 약 5배 증가했다.

'트윅' 뮤직비디오는 유튜브에서 인기를 모으고 있다. 7일에는 유튜브 뮤직비디오 트렌딩 월드와이드 1위를 달성했고, 미국과 캐나다에서 정상을 차지했으며, 미국 유튜브 인기 급상승 음악 6위에 올랐다. 공개 24시간 만에 조회 수 570만 뷰를 돌파하는 등 큰 호응을 얻었다.

음원은 1990년대 후반과 2000년대 초반 R&B 스타일의 빈티지 사운드를 특징으로 하며, "돈트 싱크 댓 아임 위크(Don't think that I'm weak)"라는 대담하고 당찬 메시지를 담고 있다.

Released on the 6th, "Tweak" topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in several countries such as Mexico and Chile, and achieved GIRLSET’s personal best by ranking 24th on the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart and 18th on the Pop Songs chart.

On Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, the song recorded approximately 640,000 streams on its first day. In the U.S. alone, streams surpassed 270,000, more than doubling the figure of their previous release "Little Miss." On Apple Music, it was streamed over 180,000 times on release day, with about 130,000 of those plays from the U.S., demonstrating strong local interest. Digital album sales in the U.S. also rose about fivefold compared to the previous release.

The "Tweak" music video is also gaining popularity on YouTube. On the 7th, it reached 1st place on the worldwide YouTube music video trending chart, and claimed the top spot in both the U.S. and Canada. It ranked 6th on the U.S. YouTube Trending Music chart and surpassed 5.7 million views within 24 hours, receiving great public enthusiasm.

Musically, "Tweak" features a vintage R&B sound characteristic of the late 1990s and early 2000s. The song carries a bold and confident message: "Don’t think that I’m weak."
