 KT의 통신상품 유통 전문 그룹사 KT M&S(대표이사 최찬기)가 ‘2026 AI바우처 지원사업’의 공급기업으로 공식 선정되어 자체 개발 AI 플랫폼 ‘NEXUS’를 통해 중소기업과 소상공인의 AI 전환 지원을 본격화합니다.

과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 주관하는 ‘AI바우처 지원사업’은 중소기업과 소상공인이 AI 솔루션 도입에 따른 비용 부담을 완화하기 위해 최대 2억원 규모의 바우처를 지원하는 정부 사업입니다. 선정된 기업은 AI 교육, 컨설팅, 플랫폼 구축 등 다양한 서비스를 활용할 수 있습니다.

KT M&S가 선보이는 ‘NEXUS’는 임직원 2,000여 명이 직접 사용하며 고도화한 자체 개발 AI 플랫폼으로, 문서 기반 AI Q&A, 데이터 분석 AI, AI 생성 이미지 제작 기능을 통합 제공하여 업무 효율성을 높입니다. 별도의 대규모 인프라 없이 도입 가능해 IT 인력 부족한 중소기업도 쉽고 빠르게 활용할 수 있습니다.

KT M&S는 이번 선정으로 ‘NEXUS’를 중소기업과 소상공인에 본격 공급하며 AI와 ICT를 융합한 AICT 기업으로의 전환을 가속화할 계획입니다. 컨소시엄 구성 및 신청 문의는 KT M&S 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

KT M&S, a specialized telecommunications product distribution subsidiary of KT led by CEO Choi Chan-gi, has been officially selected as a supplier for the 2026 AI Voucher Support Project. Through its independently developed AI platform, NEXUS, KT M&S will actively support AI transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners.

The AI Voucher Support Project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), is a government initiative aimed at alleviating the financial burden of adopting AI solutions for SMEs and small business operators by providing vouchers worth up to 200 million KRW. Selected companies can utilize various services including AI education, consulting, and platform implementation tailored to their business needs.

KT M&S’s NEXUS platform, which has been refined through actual use by over 2,000 employees, integrates document-based AI Q&A (RAG chatbot), data analysis AI (automatic SQL generation), and AI ArtLab for generative image production, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. Notably, NEXUS can be deployed without large-scale infrastructure investment, making it accessible and easy to adopt even for SMEs with limited IT personnel.

Leveraging its selection as a supplier, KT M&S plans to aggressively expand the supply of NEXUS to SMEs and small business owners while accelerating its transformation into an AICT (AI + ICT) company. Consortium formation and application inquiries are available through the KT M&S website.
