삼성전자 마이크로 RGB TV, VDE ‘눈 안전성·생체 리듬 디스플레이’ 인증 동시 획득! Samsung Electronics Micro RGB TV Simultaneously Acquires VDE ‘Eye Safety and Circadian Rhythm Display’ Certifications

 삼성전자의 마이크로 RGB TV ‘R95H’가 독일 시험·인증 기관 VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker)로부터 ‘눈 안전성(Safety for Eyes)’과 ‘생체 리듬 디스플레이(CRD, Circadian Rhythm Display)’ 인증을 동시에 획득했다.

이번 인증은 디스플레이가 사용자 눈 건강과 생체 리듬에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 평가해, 장시간 시청에도 부담을 줄이고 최적의 시청 환경을 제공하는 제품에 부여된다.

‘눈 안전성’ 평가는 디지털 기기에서 발생하는 빛을 분석해 장시간 시청 시 눈 피로에 미치는 영향을 측정하며, 특히 수면 리듬에 영향을 줄 수 있는 블루라이트 저감 수준을 중점적으로 검증한다. 또한 ‘생체 리듬 디스플레이’ 평가는 낮에는 자연광에 가까운 환경을 구현하고 밤에는 자극을 최소화하는지 여부를 분석해 멜라토닌 분비 억제 수준과 색온도·휘도 변화 특성을 종합적으로 평가한다.

삼성전자의 마이크로 RGB TV(R95H)는 두 인증 기준을 모두 충족하며 눈 건강과 생체 리듬을 고려한 디스플레이 설계 역량을 입증했다.

삼성전자는 마이크로 RGB TV를 비롯해 2026년형 TV 주요 라인업에 ‘눈 안전성’ 인증 적용을 확대하고 있으며, 프리미엄 제품군을 중심으로 ‘생체 리듬 디스플레이’ 인증도 순차적으로 확대할 계획이다.

이번 인증을 통해 삼성전자는 뛰어난 화질뿐 아니라 사용자 시청 환경과 건강까지 고려한 TV 기술력을 글로벌 시장에서 다시 한 번 인정받게 됐다.

Samsung Electronics’ Micro RGB TV ‘R95H’ has simultaneously received ‘Safety for Eyes’ and ‘Circadian Rhythm Display (CRD)’ certifications from the German testing and certification body VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker).

These certifications comprehensively evaluate the impact of the display on users’ eye health and circadian rhythm, granting the certification to products that provide an optimal viewing environment while minimizing burden during prolonged viewing.

The ‘Safety for Eyes’ evaluation analyzes the light emitted by digital devices and measures its effects on eye fatigue during extended viewing, with a particular focus on verifying the reduction level of blue light, which may affect sleep rhythms. The ‘Circadian Rhythm Display’ evaluation examines whether the display recreates natural light conditions during daytime and minimizes stimulation at night by analyzing melatonin suppression levels along with changes in color temperature and luminance.

Samsung’s Micro RGB TV (R95H) meets both certification criteria, demonstrating its capability to design displays that consider eye safety and circadian rhythms.

Samsung plans to expand the application of ‘Safety for Eyes’ certification to its 2026 main TV lineup and gradually extend ‘Circadian Rhythm Display’ certification, especially in its premium product range.

Through this certification, Samsung Electronics has once again been officially recognized in the global market for not only delivering outstanding picture quality but also for designing TVs that consider the viewing environment and the health of users.
