 SK 팜테코(SK pharmteco)는 소분자, 펩타이드, 바이럴 벡터의 3대 사업 부문을 중심으로 한 장기 성장 전략을 재확인하며, 바이럴 벡터 사업 역량 강화를 위해 총 1억 달러의 대규모 투자를 발표했다.

이번 투자는 미국 펜실베이니아주 킹오브프러시아와 프랑스 코르베유에손의 핵심 시설을 포함해 전 사업 부문의 품질 시스템 고도화, 공정 성능 최적화, 기술 이전 역량 강화 등에 집중된다. SK 팜테코는 이를 통해 글로벌 네트워크 전반에서 운영 우수성을 높이고, 안정적인 개발과 후기 임상, 상업 생산을 지원할 계획이다.

SK pharmteco has reaffirmed its long-term growth strategy centered on three core business sectors: small molecules, peptides, and viral vectors, announcing a major investment of USD 100 million to strengthen its viral vector capabilities.

This investment will focus on enhancing quality systems, optimizing process performance, and strengthening technology transfer capabilities across all business areas, including key facilities located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA, and Corbeil-Essonnes, France. Through this, SK pharmteco aims to elevate operational excellence across its global network and support stable development, late-stage clinical trials, and commercial production.
