경남 산청군이 오는 4월 10일부터 12일까지 3일간 ‘2026년 산청 농특산물 대제전’을 개최한다. Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will host the ‘2026 Sancheong Agricultural and Special Products Festival’ for three days from April 10 to 12.

산청군은 이번 행사를 금서면 동의보감촌 잔디광장에서 열고, 지역 농업의 경쟁력을 알리는 동시에 농업인과 소비자가 함께 소통하는 축제의 장을 마련한다고 밝혔다.

‘다시 뛰는 산청, 명품 농특산물로 미래를 연다’를 슬로건으로 내건 이번 대제전은 지리산 청정 자연에서 생산된 우수 농특산물을 직접 체험하고 구매할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것이 특징이다.

행사 기간 동안 산청을 대표하는 약초와 산나물, 과일 등 약 1,000여 종의 친환경 농특산물이 전시·판매된다. 방문객들은 다양한 체험 프로그램도 즐길 수 있다. 비타민 충전 과일 체험, 에코산청 꿀벌 체험, 약초 및 산나물 채취 체험 등이 마련돼 가족 단위 관람객들의 참여를 유도할 계획이다.

문화 공연도 풍성하게 준비됐다. 개막공연을 시작으로 가수 신승태, 손빈아 등의 무대와 함께 경남국악예술제, 산청문화예술제, 농업인 단체 장기자랑 등이 행사 기간 내내 이어진다.

또한 행사장에는 먹거리존이 운영돼 산청 흑돼지 구이, 소고기 국밥과 순대, 약초전 등 지역 특색을 살린 다양한 먹거리를 선보인다.

산청군 관계자는 “이번 대제전은 산청 농특산물의 우수성을 널리 알리고 지역 농업에 활력을 불어넣는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “많은 방문객들이 산청의 맛과 멋을 즐기며 뜻깊은 시간을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.

The event is set to take place on the lawn plaza of Donguibogam Village in Geumseo-myeon, providing a platform that highlights the competitiveness of local agriculture and fosters communication between farmers and consumers.

Under the slogan “Revitalizing Sancheong, Opening the Future with Premium Agricultural Specialty Products,” the festival offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience and purchase superior agricultural products cultivated in the pristine nature of Jirisan Mountain.

During the festival, approximately 1,000 varieties of eco-friendly agricultural specialties will be exhibited and sold, including Sancheong’s signature medicinal herbs, wild greens, and fruits. Visitors can also participate in diverse experience programs such as vitamin-charged fruit tasting, eco-friendly Sancheong beekeeping experience, and medicinal herb and wild greens harvesting, attracting family audiences.

A rich lineup of cultural performances will run throughout the festival. Starting with an opening ceremony, stages will feature singers Shin Seung-tae and Son Bin-ah, alongside the Gyeongnam Gugak Art Festival, Sancheong Cultural Arts Festival, and talent showcases by agricultural groups.

The event venue will also host a food zone offering unique local delicacies such as Sancheong black pork roast, beef soup and sundae, and herb jeon (Korean pancakes).

A Sancheong County official stated, “This grand festival will widely promote the excellence of Sancheong’s agricultural specialties and invigorate the local agricultural industry. We hope many visitors enjoy Sancheong’s flavors and culture, making memorable experiences.”
