NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business, and technology services, and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of private 5G networks and advance edge AI and physical AI use cases for enterprises worldwide.
Combining Ericsson's Private 5G and Edge platforms with NTT DATA’s comprehensive enterprise network services, including wireless expertise, IT/OT security, and managed services, the partnership aims to provide industry-ready solutions that enable confident deployment of private 5G at global scale.
The collaboration focuses on four key areas:
- Delivering scalable global managed services for private 5G with consistent architecture, operations, and security.
- Embedding AI directly into enterprise connectivity via NTT DATA Edge AI agents running on Ericsson’s Edge platforms for real-time intelligence and autonomous decision-making.
- Offering repeatable industry solutions across manufacturing, mining, ports, airports, energy, transportation, and smart cities to accelerate deployment and deliver measurable ROI.
- Unifying global go-to-market strategies through joint sales, marketing, and delivery to streamline deployment and reduce vendor complexity.
