한국간편결제진흥원(이하 한결원, 이사장 권대수)은 5인조 다국적 AI 걸그룹 스위티즈(SweeTeez)를 제로페이 공식 홍보대사로 위촉했다고 3월 31일 밝혔다.
이번 위촉은 AI 기술과 K-팝의 융합으로 소상공인의 디지털 경쟁력 강화와 골목상권 활성화를 목표로 추진됐다. 스위티즈는 2025년 데뷔한 풀 버추얼(Full Virtual) 아이돌로, 5명의 다국적 멤버로 구성되어 있다. 데뷔곡 ‘Click Clack Boom’을 비롯해 다양한 음악 활동과 팬 소통 콘텐츠를 선보이며 K-팝 신세대로 주목받고 있다.
홍보대사로서 스위티즈는 제로페이 영상, 음원, 포스터 등 각종 콘텐츠 제작에 참여하며, 이들의 목소리가 담긴 CM송과 결제 안내 영상은 전국 제로페이 가맹점에 배포돼 매장 활성화에 기여할 전망이다.
특히 스위티즈는 다국적 멤버 특성을 활용해 제로페이 해외 결제 홍보에도 적극 나선다. 제로페이는 현재 20개국 67개 결제 앱과 연동되어 외국인 관광객이 환전 없이도 자국 앱으로 결제 가능하며, 스위티즈가 다국어 결제 가이드 영상 제작에 참여해 중국어, 일본어 등으로 해외 팬들에게 제로페이의 편리함을 알릴 예정이다.
한결원은 스위티즈를 통해 K-팝과 첨단 기술을 접목한 홍보가 제로페이의 글로벌 인지도 제고와 소상공인 지원에 긍정적 효과를 가져올 것으로 기대하고 있다.
5-member multinational AI girl group SweeTeez has been appointed as the official ambassadors of ZeroPay, announced on March 31.
This appointment aims to strengthen the digital competitiveness of small businesses and revitalize local shopping districts through the fusion of AI technology and K-pop. SweeTeez is a full virtual idol group that debuted in 2025, composed of five multinational members. They have attracted attention as the new generation of K-pop with various music activities and fan communication contents, including their debut song "Click Clack Boom."
As ambassadors, SweeTeez will participate in the production of various contents such as ZeroPay videos, sound sources, and posters. Their voices are featured in CM songs and payment guide videos, which will be distributed to ZeroPay affiliated stores nationwide to contribute to store revitalization.
Notably, leveraging their multinational member characteristics, SweeTeez will actively promote ZeroPay’s overseas payment service. Currently, ZeroPay is connected to 67 payment apps in 20 countries, allowing foreign tourists to pay with their own country's apps without currency exchange. SweeTeez will also participate in producing multilingual payment guide videos in languages such as Chinese and Japanese to inform overseas fans about the convenience of ZeroPay.
