 LG생활건강이 개발한 핵심 성분 ‘NAD Power24™’가 손상된 피부를 회복시키는 효과를 과학적으로 입증한 연구 결과가 공개됐다.

이 연구는 한양대학교 화학과 김두리 교수팀과 공동으로 진행됐으며, NAD Power24™가 피부 세포 내 미토콘드리아, 소포체, 골지체 등 3가지 핵심 소기관의 손상을 단 30분 만에 회복시키고, 사전 처리 시 손상 예방 효과도 확인했다. NAD는 세포 호흡과 에너지 대사에 필수적인 조효소이나 구조가 불안정한데, 이를 리포좀 구조로 안정화하고 트랜스퍼좀 기술을 적용해 흡수력을 높인 것이 NAD Power24™다.

이번 연구는 특히 피부 진피 섬유아세포 구조 손상을 3대 핵심 소기관 수준에서 시각적으로 보여준 점에서 기존 연구와 차별화된다. 연구 논문은 세계적 권위 학술지 ‘저널 오브 나노바이오테크놀로지(Journal of Nanobiotechnology)’ 2026년 2월호에 게재됐다.

이번 연구 결과는 NAD Power24™가 손상된 피부 세포 복구는 물론 장기적인 피부 건강과 ‘스킨 롱제비티(피부 장수)’ 솔루션으로서의 가능성을 입증한 중요한 성과로 평가된다.

The study was conducted in collaboration with Professor Doori Kim’s team from Hanyang University’s Department of Chemistry. NAD Power24™ was shown to repair damage to three key cellular organelles—mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus—in skin cells within just 30 minutes. Pre-treatment with NAD Power24™ also prevented damage. 

NAD, a crucial coenzyme for cellular respiration and energy metabolism, is inherently unstable. LG Household & Health Care stabilized NAD by encapsulating it in a liposomal structure and applied Transfersome technology to enhance its absorption. 

This research is distinctive in visually confirming the structural restoration of dermal fibroblasts’ three major organelles, setting it apart from previous studies that mainly observed specific cellular or tissue changes. 

The findings were published in the February 2026 issue of the prestigious Journal of Nanobiotechnology.
