 바이올리니스트 정란이 첫 번째 디지털 싱글앨범 ‘Violin Love - 사랑을 기억하게 하는 음악’을 발매했다.

이번 앨범은 상명대학교 뉴미디어음악과 장민호 교수의 작품을 중심으로, 러시아 레닌그라드국립심포니오케스트라 60인조의 연주와 함께 사랑, 기억, 그리움을 주제로 한 세 곡을 바이올린으로 재해석한 프로젝트다. 수록곡은 ‘그리움을 아는 이만이’, ‘고향의 봄’, ‘윤동주 서시’로, 한 사람의 삶을 따라 흐르는 사랑, 기억, 돌아봄의 정서를 담았다.

앨범 녹음은 상트페테르부르크 필름스튜디오에서 오케스트라와 라이브 세션으로 진행됐으며, 정란의 바이올린은 오케스트라 사운드에 인간적이고 섬세한 결을 더해 곡에 담긴 ‘사랑의 온도’를 표현했다.

정란의 연주는 기억과 사랑, 순수의 감정을 섬세하게 담아내 한국적 정서와 클래식 음악 깊이를 하나의 선율로 융합했다. 특히 마지막 트랙 ‘윤동주 서시’는 시에 담긴 고독과 순수를 음악으로 옮긴 곡으로, 정란은 이를 “말로 설명할 수 없는 감정의 떨림을 담은 곡”이라 표현했다.

앨범 제작과 발매는 티앤비엔터테인먼트가 맡았다.

Violinist Jung Ran has released her first digital single album titled “Violin Love – Music That Remembers Love.”

This album centers on compositions by Professor Jang Min-ho of Sangmyung University’s New Media Music Department and features reinterpretations of three works themed around love, memory, and longing, performed with the 60-member Leningrad National Symphony Orchestra. The tracks include “Only Those Who Know Longing,” “Spring in My Hometown,” and “Yun Dong-ju’s Prelude,” which collectively express emotions flowing through a person’s life—love, remembrance, and reflection.

The recording took place as a live session at the Saint Petersburg Film Studio with the orchestra. Jung Ran’s violin adds a human and delicate texture atop the orchestral sound, conveying the “temperature of love” embedded in the pieces.

Her performance delicately captures the emotions of memory, love, and purity, blending Korean sensibilities with the depth of classical music in a single melodic line. Especially notable is the final track, “Yun Dong-ju’s Prelude,” which translates the loneliness and purity of the poem into violin music. Jung Ran describes this piece as “conveying an indescribable trembling of emotion.”
