Orbis CA, 말레이시아 최대 금융그룹 메이뱅크자산운용과 MOU 체결! Orbis CA Signs MOU with Maybank Asset Management, Malaysia's Largest Financial Group!

 Orbis Corporate Advisory(Orbis CA)가 동남아시아 최대 금융그룹 중 하나인 메이뱅크(Maybank) 산하 메이뱅크자산운용 싱가포르와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다. 이번 협약은 3월 30일 싱가포르에서 Orbis CA 대표 데이비드 최와 메이뱅크자산운용 싱가포르 배급총괄 데이미언 코가 서명했다.

Orbis CA는 20년 이상 크로스보더 M&A, 자본 자문, 구조조정 등 전략적 기업자문을 전문으로 하며, 아시아 8개국 이상에서 자문 실적을 보유하고 있다. 메이뱅크자산운용은 메이뱅크 그룹의 자산운용 부문으로, 아세안 10개국에 영업망을 갖추고 전통금융과 이슬람금융 자산을 운용한다.

이번 업무협약 체결은 아세안 내 주요 금융그룹과 한국 중견기업 간 크로스보더 투자와 자본 흐름에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대되며, Orbis CA의 아시아 M&A 및 자본시장 자문 역량 강화에 기여할 전망이다.

Orbis Corporate Advisory (Orbis CA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Maybank Asset Management Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Maybank—one of the largest financial groups in Southeast Asia. The agreement was signed on March 30 in Singapore by David Choi, CEO of Orbis CA, and Damien Koh, Head of Distribution at Maybank Asset Management Singapore.

Orbis CA specializes in strategic corporate advisory services including cross-border M&A, capital advisory, and restructuring, with over 20 years of experience and advisory achievements in more than eight Asian countries. Maybank Asset Management is the asset management arm of the Maybank Group, operating across all 10 ASEAN countries and managing both conventional and Islamic (Shariah) financial assets.

This MOU is expected to positively impact cross-border investments and capital flow between major ASEAN financial groups and mid-sized Korean enterprises. It will also strengthen Orbis CA’s advisory capabilities in Asian M&A and capital markets.
