재즈 보컬리스트 나윤선, 새 앨범 ‘Lost Pieces’ 발매 Jazz vocalist Youn Sun Nah, under the agency Nplug, has released her 13th album, Lost Pieces.

 재즈 보컬리스트 나윤선(소속사 엔플러그)이 13번째 앨범 ‘Lost Pieces’를 발매했다. 이번 앨범은 그간 나윤선이 꾸준히 탐구해온 음악적 방향성이 집약된 작품으로, 사랑의 상실과 관계의 균열, 회복과 자기 성찰을 주제로 내면의 재구성을 섬세하게 그려낸다.

총 11곡이 수록되어 있으며, 전곡을 직접 작사·작곡한 나윤선은 미니멀리즘 음악가 스티브 라이히의 영향 아래 타이틀곡 ‘Lost Pieces’를 비롯해 ‘Shell of Me’, ‘Where’d You Hide’, ‘WTH is Love!’ 등 다양한 음악적 색채를 선보인다. 앨범에는 Matthis Pascaud(기타), Laurent Vernerey(베이스), Raphaël Chassin(드럼), Tony Paeleman(피아노·키보드), Guillaume Latil(첼로) 등 유럽 재즈의 대표 연주자들이 참여했다.

지난 2022년 발매한 ‘Waking World’가 새로운 미학적 확장의 신호탄이었다면, ‘Lost Pieces’는 그 방향성을 더욱 깊고 정교하게 완성한 작품으로, 나윤선의 예술 세계를 만날 수 있는 중요한 기회다.

앨범 발매와 함께 프랑스, 독일에서 발매 기념 공연이 예정돼 있으며, 한국에서는 청남대 재즈토닉, 광주 ACC 등 주요 도시에서 공연을 이어갈 예정이다. 한국 투어의 최종 일정은 3월 말에 공개된다.

Jazz vocalist Youn Sun Nah, under the agency Nplug, has released her 13th album, Lost Pieces. This album encapsulates the musical direction she has diligently explored over the years, delicately portraying themes of lost love, fractured relationships, recovery, and self-reflection, ultimately expressing an inner reconstruction.

The album features 11 tracks, all written and composed by Youn Sun Nah herself. Influenced by minimalist composer Steve Reich, the title track “Lost Pieces” is complemented by a diverse musical palette including songs like “Shell of Me,” “Where’d You Hide,” and “WTH is Love!”. The album includes performances by prominent European jazz musicians such as guitarist Matthis Pascaud, bassist Laurent Vernerey, drummer Raphaël Chassin, pianist and keyboardist Tony Paeleman, and cellist Guillaume Latil.

Following her 2022 release Waking World, which marked a new aesthetic expansion, Lost Pieces further deepens and refines this artistic trajectory, providing a valuable opportunity to experience Youn Sun Nah’s artistic world in rich detail.

In celebration of the album release, Youn Sun Nah will hold concerts in France and Germany during the spring season, followed by performances in Korea, including at Cheongnamdae Jazztone and Gwangju ACC. The final schedule for the Korean tour will be announced at the end of March.
