대구광역시와 경상북도가 3월 31일(화) 경북대학교 글로벌플라자에서 ‘2026년 대구·경북 공공기관 지역인재 합동채용설명회’를 개최합니다. 국토교통부가 주최하고 양 시도가 공동 주관하는 이번 행사는 2012년 시작된 지역 대표 공공기관 채용 설명회로, 올해는 행사를 5월에서 3월로 앞당기고 구직자 중심의 실질적인 정보 제공에 집중합니다.
이번 설명회에는 대구·경북 지역 이전 공공기관 16개 기관과 지방공공기관, 민간기업을 포함해 총 26개 기관이 참여하며, 1:1 채용 상담, NCS 특강, 채용설명회, 토크 콘서트, 퍼스널 컬러 진단 및 AI 사진 촬영 등 실무 취업 지원 프로그램이 운영됩니다.
최근 3년간 대구 지역 이전공공기관은 법정 의무 채용률 30%를 상회하는 41.6%의 지역인재 채용률을 기록했으나, 공공기관 신규 채용 규모 감소와 수도권 대비 낮은 청년 고용률, 지역 내 양질의 일자리 부족, 특정 산업 분야 편중 등의 문제점이 제기되고 있습니다. 대구시는 이번 설명회를 통해 지역인재 채용 확대와 청년 정착 지원을 더욱 강화할 계획입니다.
Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do will hold the "2026 Daegu-Gyeongbuk Public Institutions Joint Recruitment Fair for Local Talents" at Kyungpook National University Global Plaza on March 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and co-organized by both regions, this event marks the 14th edition since its inception in 2012, shifting earlier from May to March this year to focus on providing practical recruitment information centered on job seekers.
A total of 26 organizations will participate, including 16 public institutions relocated to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area, local public institutions, and private companies. The fair features one-on-one recruitment consultations, NCS expert lectures, recruitment presentations, talk concerts, personal color diagnosis, and AI photo shoots, offering comprehensive support to job seekers in preparing for employment.
Over the past three years, public institutions relocated to Daegu have maintained a local talent employment rate of 41.6%, exceeding the legal mandate of 30%. However, challenges remain, such as a shrinking scale of new hires, lower youth employment rates compared to the Seoul metropolitan area, insufficient quality jobs locally, and concentration in specific industrial sectors. Daegu City aims to accelerate local talent recruitment and strengthen support for youth settlement through this recruitment fair.
